The star of the facility is the restaurant. The hotel has an attentive staff, new facility, nice room but it's new stuff. Terrace pool seemed popular but a second floor anything in Texas will be windy. Two best qualities: restaurant and hotel staff.
Expensive for just an average modern hotel with average furniture, slow elevators, an air conditioning system struggling with a modest warm Texas day (Europe influence?), fancy yet non-functional coffee maker and few towels with fewer wash cloths but everything is new. Do they vacuum the carpet or wash the in room glass wear? The room service coffee is awful (tragic!). I would seriously reconsider plans to visit during the high heat Texas summer days. But Mrs. Lincoln liked the bed.
