Hot breakfast and wine in the evenings. 2 room suites. They have taken away any snacks during the manager's reception. Snack mix or something would be appreciated. We had problems with a VERY loud group all during the night. It took repeated calls to security to actually get security to break it up. Everything exhoes in the atrium, exacerbating the problem. Finally at around 3:00, they moved upstairs only to congregate near the elevator. Again, calls to the front desk. Finally, around 4 am they were broken up and went to their rooms. From there, we had the pleasure of listening to them argue and fight. We weren't the only ones complaining and I don't understand why the police weren't called and them leaving.
Friendly staff old, trashy facilities. It was too expensive for the state it was in.
Great price for a two room suite. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We especially like that the cook was willing to help us with something gluten free and dairy free. The owner is willing to post a huge Ten Commandments monument in their atrium!
Clean and simple
What counts in business travel where sleeping is mostly the only thing that really counts, this place scored. Great bed, great bedding, great pillows, and great shower. Clean, clean, clean, Anthony M. would be happy. Older but nice Not really anything at all. Not new but not bad at all!
Rooms were very clean. Bed was way comfy. The staff was very courteous and willing to make you feel at home. The indoor pool and hot tub was awesome!! And the breakfast was very good! I would stay here again! The entrance to the hotel was kind of a pain to get to. Was given one room and the water wasn't working, so was moved to another room. Both rooms were great but the shower handles in both were broken. They offer HBO in their rooms, however neither room that I was in had HBO as an option for a channel. The walls are a little thin and outside noise seems to seep through a little bit.
We arrived on a cold day, but the heater was already on and the room was at a comfortable temperature. The king bed was very comfortable and the heater worked quietly and consistently all night. The location was easy to find and near lots of shops and restaurants. The area was also quiet and we did not hear any noise from highway or people outside. Only complaint is the water temperature consistency. As I showered, the water fluctuated from lukewarm to very hot, and would not stay at a constant temperature.
Air conditioner worked Beds were actually comfortable Supposedly the exterior doors into building were "secured" and you had to use your room key to get in. All doors were open and unlocked all night. Refrigerator in room apparently leaked water all over floor. White down comforter on bed, which was comfortable, but because it was white, you could see every stain. Towels in bathroom had stains. Toilet handle was broken and had to adjust after every flush. I took a very cold shower and 30 to 45 minutes later my partner took a nice warm shower. Hotel needs updating. It's like some things were updated while other items were not and some things appeared clean while other things were filthy. Under the sink in the bathroom, on the walls, looked like something had been slang up against the walls and trash can. I guess you get what you pay for.
Comfortable bed, good AC, nice clean room. Extra bonus is a nice lounge on preemies. Bathroom in serious need of update. Poor water temperature control.
Check in was quick and painless. Staff was efficient, friendly and accomomodating. Room was clean and quiet. Easy to find off interstate. We had accidentally booked a smoking room, immediately without any issue they gave us a non-smoking room. One of the deciding factors of us booking this hotel, was that it was listed as no pets allowed. We had been kept up by a barking dog at a previous hotel in a different town. We did not want that experience again so it was important to us. When we went to check in, there was a sign on the check in counter stating pet boarding fees. ($25). I was quite leary about the stay. Thankfully there were no barking dogs so everything worked out wonderfully.
