Was working in the area colleague refered me to this hotel. It was nice safe and clean. Had very friendly staff and helpful. The breakfast was great. Loved it
we decided to stop at this hotel from exterior look of the building and were not disappointed. The room was very clean and comfortable. Lots of resturants in close proximity. We asked for three wake up calls and they honored our request. The breakfast was also great with fresh waffles. Will come back again,
Staff is friendly and helpful. Facility is clean, but in general state of disrepair.
Was working in the area chose to got this hotel from its curb appeal nice and clean from outside. At check inn the girl is real friendly and welcoming. The room was great it had all the ammenities. Fridge microwave also. For the price they had a good breakfast with fresh waffles. I will be back and tell my friends and family
I give this review a four out of five not because the facility is a great luxury hotel, but because the owners work very, very hard at keeping it clean and as up to date as possible. This is not a Marriott but it beats most Motel 6 Motels and THAT is due to the diligence of the owners. For the price, this was a find. owners monitor the facility and parking lot for security, are friendly, work all day at maintaining the facility. All doors are inside hallway and are not exposed to outside invasion.
Fine room for the money, but the front desk people were out of control rude.
Took my team of girls soccer team to Stockton. Through some friends recommendation decided to book at this hotel. The rooms were quite, clean and comfortable. The girls enjoyed fresh waffles for breakfast and it was free. Loved it and will be back
I was in stockton for business. the hotel looked great from outside and equally great when i checked in it was budget friendly romms were nice and clean. it had good breakfast. Overall it was good the price
stopped in late at this hotel but greeted warmly, check inn process was smooth. We went to our room and it was clean it had fridge, microwave , iron & board. It was very quite. In the morning we had good breakfast and it was free. Very positive experience
I was tired after a long day of work I went to americas best value inn and they were very helpful with express check inn and when i got the room it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also good with fresh waffels. I recomend this hotel to my family and friends
WHAT A DUMP ... WALKED IN AND CHARGED ME A 60 dollar service fee charge and charged me for wireless internet as well ... the area is very creepy and working woman on the hour and people riding around with their bicycles and making noise.... the management also bring creepy people through the front desk and the management maid deal with a anonymous person to do something that they should not commit ... overall i do not recommend this motel to anyone ,,, also they charge for breakfast 30 dollar and the younger guy is very rude and obnoxious
Nice large rooms with comfortable beds. None
We wanted a non-smoking room, instead our whole hallway and room smelled like smoke. Room 115 the thermostat was broken, duct tape on the floor to hold down the carpet to the bathroom. Closet glass door broken at the bottom, toilet seat broken, night stand handle ready to fall off. We got back late to the room, I went to complain to get moved to another room. Waited 20mins at the front desk nobody around. The hotel needs a major update. I normally stay in 3 star or better hotels. This was nowhere close to any 3 star I've been to. These deplorable facilities should be condemned.
Easy access to freeway. Short notice availability. First impression walking into where our actual room was located, you've got to be kidding me!!!! You're hit by a nauseating odor of stale cigarette smoke mixed with moth balls and mildew. Bad enough? Yes. But no we are not done. The room smelled fine. But our comforters were gross and had crud of them. The toilet was oddly placed in the bathroom which made it awkward to use. Overall I would not reccommend this place unless a last resort.
Room was clean and seemed updated. Full size fridge in room. Nice bar, lunge and restaurant. Pool/spa is usable. There is an outdoor area with artificial grass with lots of seating. Thats a great place to relax outdoors. Pool table and ping-pong table are a nice touch too. Staff was friendly and were quite accommodating with early checkin / late checkout. Location and folks in and around the waterfront park look a little dicey. Fortunately, with all the options at the hotel you dont really need to step out.
The courtyard area was really nice. It had pool tables and fire pits along with nice patio furniture scattered around to enjoy. All of the staff members acted like they did not want to be there. They were not helpful and seemed to even avoid guests so they couldn't be asked for anything. The bar tenders were very unhappy and impatient with guests. They need to be re-trained or replaced. It's really a shame because it's a beautiful hotel.
Easy freeway access, centrally located, clean room The hotel doubles as college dorms when school is in and can become loud.
The room was great. Very clean, modern, and welcoming. Will definitely make my way back; as long as a great deal comes up again. I could tell the receptionist was having a rather hectic day, and was a little snappy. Can't do much about peoples attitudes, but that was a little offsetting. Maybe some more support for her from her staff would have alleviated the load.
The view was nice The towels were dirty and looked like they had blood on them. There were no shampoos in the bathroom and the conditioner bottles were empty. Looks like they didn't do a room service. The walls are not soundproof and you could hear the next door guest talking on her phone at 5 AM. Very noisy place.
The courtyard/pool area was pretty. Our room was comfortable. It was okay for an overnight stay on a road trip after12+ hours on the road, but it's in a bad, rundown (scary) area. We almost kept driving, but had prepaid for our room. It was so noisy that we had to keep the fan and a/c on all night to drown out the loud music and we weren't able to get much sleep.
Stockton has a great waterfront and this hotel captures that beauty. We stayed in the "King Suite", and it was roomy with an abundance of windows. Newer style is nice and the staff was nice, but not very competent. Asked for a late check out and it was granted after more than two calls. Stay here at your own risk -- this is not the kind of place you'd want to venture out and walk around. The "King Suite" is basically two separate rooms at the end of a hallway. The room looked like it had been unkept and most of the carpet is stained.. and we found small bugs on our bedding (after we'd slept there). There's a hallway light that is part of the main lighting system, so it never turns off. Older style toilet, ours overflowed twice.
The room was very nice, comforters a bit big, but overall very nice. Huge bathroom, wow. Location. Other than being next to the waterfront and directly across the street from the coliseum, the location was horrible. The limited menu in the inside restaurant with the high prices was discouraging. Tried to go find something close as an alternative, not. The delapitated downtown section offered no real alternatives for food options. So, reluctantly having no feeling of choice but to stay at the hotel to eat and paying 40 dollars for a quick lunch was a bummer.
Nice and clean with secure parking lot. Nice sized room with comfortable beds. Nice grounds with waterfront view of a waterway. Nice outdoor sitting areas with comfortable lounge chairs and fire pits. Great place for some conversation and an evening adult beverage
Everything was great!!!!!
Nice Blue wallpaper in Bathroom Nice Blue Bedding In summer, courtyard would have been great for reading outdoors Restaurant onsite Big refrigerator and microwave Large TV radio/CD player Double paned sliding doors Good value Large room Good enough if all you want is a fairly decent place to stay overnight. Too modern a feel, IE: no carpeting, only cream colored ceramic tile, very cold looking, not to mention hard cold surface to walk on. No dresser, small 48" desk with 3 small drawers No chair to sit in, small bench only 1 tiny hook in bathroom to hold towels, only hand towels would fit due to smallness of hooks. No hook/towel racks for bath towel, had to put bath towel on floor next to shower as had a 3/4 clear glass partition to keep water in the shower which went to ceiling so couldn't hang towel on that. Receptionists were nice, but gave no information on parking, if there was a restaurant on sight, I had to ask. Hall carpet very dirty and stained throughout the whole hallway. Top floors rented out to University students. Possibly in summer, regular customers have access to those, better view I'm sure. Extremely strong disinfectant smell throughout the hall and in the room, a BIG turnoff. Neighborhood kind of iffy, homeless man was walking across the entrance outside when I arrived Shower mat too long and covered the drain hole in the center of the shower, had to move it around to drain the water as I showered. A little hard to find location The bright stainless steel faucets in bathroom had spots on them were they hadn't been wiped clean. Doubtful I will stay here again. The cons outweighed the pros
The waterfront is located near a college/crime area yet it provides the security and serenity. The room deposit and the cable selection is not good... But if completely bored and you don't want to go to the movies rent the one you most want because your paying a couples price!! I don't like that the clerks seem to harbor the rooms with a view even with prepaid reservations. In fact one clerk blatantly lied and on my next trip the new clerk was extremely nice. The two men clerks are not personable at ALL
Returned my underwear that I left in the drawer. Stampede above & employees "carrying on" shouting next door in electrical room after 11:00 pm.
The room was clean and comfortable My room didn't come with no dishes or silverware and when I called front desk to ask for just TWO forks it took them at least 30 min to bring it to my room
Nothing! I arrived at about 5:30 pm after putting in 8 hours behind the wheel, so I was quite tired. Check-In was handled by an inept young lady who apparently was new. She asked for my ID and credit card, which I produced. She disappeared for several minutes and then came back and told me that she could not accept my ID because it was "paper." I explained to her that it was a temporary license as I had just renewed it, and that I had not received the actual license yet. After we got that worked out I went to my room and looked about for an ice bucket so I could enjoy a cold beverage after a long day traveling. There was no ice bucket, so I went back down to the front desk and inquired if I could possibly get one. She informed me that not only did they not have ice buckets, but that there was no ice within the hotel!!! So--I went across the street across 8 lanes of traffic to buy ice! The room itself was absolutely nothing to write home about. The next morning I was about to shower when I happened to notice that there wasn't even a hairdryer!!! No ice and no hairdryer at an extended stay hotel? SERIOUSLY??? Will never go back.
Staff was friendly and responsive. They only had one other room beside the one that smelled we were in and she tried to accommodate us, so we looked at a smoking room, but that was even worse. She tried which we appreciated. The maintenance of our room was very poor (our room had a very foul smell and walls near baseboards were falling apart). The website was misleading when I selected criteria of workout facility and there was not one at this location.
The woman at the front desk was very helpful. She had dark hair (the younger one wasn't overly friendly just matter of fact) the other woman gave me great information on traveling through LA. I have stayed at many quality inns but this one felt like a motel 6 or lower. It didn't feel clean, the hair dryer didn't work but neither did the outlet, the shower curtain was falling down so the curtain wouldn't stay shut. I won't recommend or stay there again. Just doesn't feel like a quality inn.
