Don't miss an opportunity to vacation in this lovely 75+ year old cozy cottage with full knotty-pine and split log interior. Filled with artifacts from the logging days as well as complete modern amenities for your comfort and enjoyment. Enjoy beautiful views of Torch Lake from the 10' x 24' screened-in porch which includes table seating for six plus additional lounge seating. Multiple hummingbird feeders assure regular visits from these delightful creatures as you enjoy porch dining. Additional indoor dining table is also available. This vintage cottage has 2 bedrooms (1 queen/ 2 twin), 1 bath that sleeps a maximum of 6 (sleeper sofa in the living area). Modern amenities include cable/Smart TV, DVD player, wi-fi and A/C unit. Microwave, gas stove and refrigerator in kitchen along with gas grill. Enjoy swimming in Michigan's "Caribbean Sea." Included for your private use is a private dock complete with sunning chairs for your added enjoyment. There is a boat mooring point which is adequate for tying up a boat (~ 21 feet max length) during the day, but not recommended for overnight anchorage due to potential high waves on Torch Lake. We do not allow any boats to be tied to the private dock. There is room to park one boat trailer - see owner for more details. The Torch Lake Township public boat launch is a short walk away along with another public boat launch in nearby Eastport. PLEASE NOTE: Cottage is not directly on the lake - simply walk down the hill to the private dock. Owner lives on-site just across the road. Rental stays are weekly from Saturday to Saturday -No more than 6 people staying in cottage at one time -No smoking is permitted -One 1 dog allowed (less than 50 pounds) MUST be housebroken and also on a leash while going to/from cottage to private dock. Pick-up doggy poo and place in trash. Dog must be crated if left alone in the cottage. -There is an additional $75 cleaning fee for pets -No parties are allowed The cottage is located just two miles from the north end of Torch Lake. Enjoy easy access to Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petoskey, Mackinac Island and Sleeping Bear National Park. There are even places to visit within walking distance from the cottage. Grand Traverse Bay is located 3/4 mile from the cottage. Walk across US 31 and enter Torch Bay Nature Preserve to visit Grand Traverse Bay beach for swimming and Petoskey stone hunting or take a hike on the Torch Bay Nature Trail. On your way back, visit Torch Lake Township William K. Good Day Park. This day park offers a public dock ($20 launch fee), sand volleyball area, basketball court, children's play structure and swings, fire pits and picnic tables. Your visit would not be complete without a stop at Torch Lake Cafe for food and music or Eastport Market for your groceries and gas. All great places near our cozy cottage. Alternatively, just enjoy the peace and quiet of the cottage, nestled on a hillside overlooking Torch Lake and away from the hustle and bustle of US 31. Enjoy Torch Lake to the fullest thanks to the cottage's close proximity to many marinas where jet skis, pontoon boats etc. can be rented and the lake accessed at the nearby public dock. Head out on your boat for fishing, hang out at the sand bar or even snorkel in the clear blue water. Not a great day on the lake - try golf. Beautiful A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort, with stunning Torch Lake vistas, is located 10 minutes south. Enjoy 72 holes of golf alongside Torch Lake and Lake Michigan. Courses include the parkland Torch Course and the new Sundance links course (golf architect Jerry Matthews). There is no landline phone service available. Our little spot is a slice of Heaven~ plan to spend a couple more days here than originally planned, as that is what all of our previous guests have said!! Each of the three large private cabins have a bathroom with a shower unit, sink & toilet with shelf space & hooks, a master bedroom (Q) & 2nd bedroom (bunk beds), each with hooks, hangers and dressers. The kitchenette/kitchen includes a full size fridge, stove/oven, and are equipped with a small microwave, toaster, coffee pot, cookware, dishes & drink-ware, utensils and kitchen towels. There is a long eating bar with 6 stools, as well as the dining table in the living/dining/great room. The combination living/dining room/great room contains a dining table, large futon and a view overlooking beautiful Torch Lake, with a side door accessing the lake side! Outside of each cabin is a picnic table, a porch with 2 chairs and a charcoal grill for your use (you provide the charcoal!) All cabins have access to a private common fire pit, with available wood, lawn space, private beach, beach toys, life jackets, swim platform, and paddle boats. Boaters can also tie up to one of our mooring buoy's and use our guest dock to load and unload. We have trailer parking on the property as well. It is truly a place to come to stay and play in the water and on the beach or lawn!!

This smaller cabin, perfect for 2 people, contains a master bedroom with a Queen bed. The bathroom has a shower unit, toilet, sink, small cabinet and hooks. The kitchenette has an apartment size refrigerator and stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, cookware, dishes & drinkware, utensils, and kitchen towels, with a cozy but comfortable living/dining area. This cabin has it's own deck with a small propane grill, chairs, and movable "stand" for drinks or food while sitting on the deck enjoying the view! All four cabins have access to a common fire pit (wood available); beach, beach chairs, swim platform, paddle boats and life jackets. Boaters can also tie up to one of our mooring buoys' and use our guest dock. Trailer parking is available on site. This cabin is made to fit TWO persons ONLY comfortably! It gives the comforts of home, while still being on an adventure!
