Staff said there was no water taxi to the landing, wall patches all over, walls shook when the door closes, staines on Decorative pillows, no room service during regular hours, couldn't access gym after 4,5 attempts with staff help, wouldn't be surprised if billing collapsed due to water damage, and mild in bathtub:(
It was dirty. There was a crack in the ceiling with apparent water damage. The hotels in the area were sold out and guests left with no other options. Disappointing. Shouldn't even be allowed to have guests. Seems like their renovation has been going on for years.
Location When we got there the room had a moldy smell and it had a humidifier on like if the room had been flooded and recently dried. We complained and they acknowledged the smell and gave us another room ruby away, but my question is WHY put someone in that room in the first place? With plenty available rooms. That left a bitter taste in my mouth.
Will NEVER stay there again.
The view and location
Location is awesome. Staff is great. Bar and restaurant were pretty good and convienient. Air conditioner worked but was extremely loud I would chug every 5 to 10 seconds and pull you out of sleep. Soon as at turned off you could get about 30 mins of sleep before it cut back on. One of the biggest weekends in Jacksonville for tailgating or people needing ice you would have thought they would have had more than one operational. I was on the 4th floor and had to go exploring and after checking 5 other broken ice machines I found one that worked. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay to self park. Why would you charge someone to park at your hotel that already paid to stay there? If your gonna charge $20 for parking probably should be all valet.
The lobby is large and inviting. The rooms are a good size except for the bathroom. The bathroom is extremely small. The hallways are dark and musty. But when those renovations are done will be glad to stay there again.
completely run-down, renovations going on, but not what we expected
Good location with hotel shuttle to Veterans Memorial Stadium for $6. once renovations are completed, could be a very nice hotel. Shower did not drain very quickly. I was standing ankle deep in water while taking a 10 min. shower. My view was of the roof and air conditioning units. Have to pay $10 to self park or $12 for valet parking per night.
Great location Hotel is very run down
location air conditioning units loud and old. carpets and bathrooms sub standard.
The Dolphins in the waterfront The Landings, not your fault and our room was very damp. It felt like they just shampooed the carpet.
New(renovated) Clean Low key Friendly and accommodating (I arrived early and was very tired, they where nice enough to give me an early check in so I cold sleep !!:) There was a toor bus that arrived late at night and was standing next to the building with the engine on for like an hour late at night and then the same early in the morning The fumes and the noise were anoying (but that's probably not hotels fault )
This hotel is a pet friendly hotel. It was clean. The rooms have hats wood floors. The beds were comfy and clean. Bathroom was a bit musty... like the shower curtain had mildewed.
Nothjnf It was filthy
Front desk assistance was good. The soap was expired, the rooms had a lot of dust.
Honestly, I didn't really like this hotel. I could have paid the same price without kayak somewhere else with better results. I saw 2 roaches in the room. There was a lot of loiterers at the entrances. It didn't seem safe to me.
Friendly staff, great location just off 95 with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. There was mold growing on the air conditioning vents and water damage to the base of the dresser (we were on the 5th floor). There is a lot of light pollution from the hall and you can hear everyone else as they come and go.
Easy to get to, right Off I-10. No
The bed was so comfortable and the room was perfect !

Penny was an amazing help and her level of customer service was definitely a 10! She was very apologetic for only smoking rooms being available and assured me the rooms would not reek of smoke and they didn't! The free breakfast was tasty as well. I didn't like the fact that there were no non smoking rooms available since I have small children but as I stated before the rooms didn't smell of smoke at all, just the hallway.

Was very nice for two start hotel and needing to be on west side of jax made it convenient. Good hot breakfast. I will be back. Parking lot is kind of small.
Staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast was great except for the juice. The only room we could get was a smoking room so it did have an odor. location.
Nothing at all. It was extremely noisy. There was a freeway right outside my window and I got very little sleep despite using prescription sleeping pills.
location smelly stained rooms
Bad location. Dirty floors. Small bathroom
Th Hotel was very close to the highway. room was a bit small but looks like it was recently remodeled. Really nice bathroom with a big shower. neighborhood is sketchy. carpet is older looking.
Quiet and comfortable. Within walking distance of several places to eat and shop. None
The place had just been through a natural disaster but you couldn't tell at all. Friendly staff and I brought my dogs, so the pet friendly policy was my favorite par. Pretty sure the band Phish was there nutty I can't say for certain. Definitely saw Chris Kuroda mulling about. Good times. More cowbell please.
The staff is very friendly and go above and beyond. They are amazing at what they do. The hotel gift shop is very over priced. $5.50 for one water. There isn't anything to do other then the pool and the beach is 30 minutes away. Not too far but still have to get there especially if you choose not to rent a car and pay their $15 per day charge to park it there. Restaurant food is good, but limited selections. The entire hotel smelled like marijuana because the AST sorority girls were having an event there and were smoking all night in their rooms. Staff were very quick to try to stop it and spray the hallways and rooms. The event floors are very large and theres a lot of event rooms to choose from with a mail room up there and business center. Beautiful hotel, but expensive and kind of boring other then the bars inside because the location. Expensive necessities. Expensive parking. Restaurant menu is very limited. Walk way that goes through the hotel outside behind the restaurant I believe is where it's located, has no lighting. The Wifi sucks horribly. Constant disconnecting even the people that paid for extra wifi had problems.
Free wifi and USA Today. Reasonable bar and food prices. A little expensive.
The view was beautiful The comforters were old and dingy looking
Staff was excellent. I booked the wrong room type and the helped me correct it immediately. Top notch customer service at the by the bellmen, and front desk.
The staff was very nice, and the room was very clean. they let us choose which view we wanted, and what floor we were on There wasn't anything really "special" about the hotel. I didn't appreciate having to pay for parking when I was already spending that much money per night. The food was overpriced for what it was - go to one of the restaurants in the landing and you will get better food for the same price.
Convenient to downtown and dining options. Top floor room air was very weak barely kept room at 75 degrees, the beds were very uncomfortable, and the breakfast options were over priced.
The beds were amazingly comfortable! And the view was great We paid to to park in garage and the garage was full so we couldn't park in there
It has/is being remodeled. The new decor is beautiful. Rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Like how bright the hallways are at night. Front desk was very nice and professional. Check in and out was quick. We did not use or even go to the pool or restaurants as we were only there for one night. Location is great. Walking distance to restaurants and the Florida Theatre. I/we were confused with the entrance. Is the main entrance facing the garage side of the street? If so the entrance isn't appealing. No one there to help. Large glass doors are heavy when you're carrying luggage. No automatic door.
Professionalism from all front of the house staff. Pet friendly!!! Superb dine-in experience. Great room configuration with a view. Fitness center free weights and resistance machines were great. While I've always respected the Hyatt brand and been a guest several time I've been a long-time Marriott member because of the range, and availability, of brands they offer. I may need to reconsider my loyalty after this latest visit. I secured two rooms to accommodate my parents, sister, me and my wife after a very long day at the Mayo clinic. Turned out to be just what the "doctor ordered" for all parties. My wife encountered a front desk staff member with a poor attitude during the night shift around 3am. She observed the young lady interact with several guests in a way that indicated she clearly did not want to be there or be helpful.
Newly renovated room
The security measures the hotel put in place for a chaotic weekend was much appreciated. They ensured they had a full staff of police officers. The friendly and courteous staff was also great; they were the only people who weren't obnoxious or drunk that I encountered that weekend. The food was great, the bartenders were on top of their game. Excellent staff. The things I didnt like I about my stay in Jacksonville are strictly related to the way the policemen had the traffic flowing; none of them knew what the officer at the next light was doing, so o spent about 1.5 hours trying to get to my hotel room. Parking was also a nightmare and was frustrating that it was not suggested to pre-pay for parking upon making the reservation. It wouldn't have mattered, however; because the lot near the hotel was overbooked.
very clean, large rooms. easy access service was poor. Not enough towels in the room and we had to pay housekeeping 5 bucks to give us 2 more towels because they refused to give us more towels for free. Also, the other person that stayed in the room with me left her makeup case. The owner/General manager refuses to send the makeup case back to her via mail, and was very rude to her on the phone.
Moldy bathroom, scum build up everywhere, gummy carpets from the 70's, rusty refrigerator & the bedding was obviously used and not cleaned. I wish I could upload pictures! Beware it is NOT anything like the pictures!!!!! We asked the desk person for a room that was actually clean, and she couldn't provide one. We checked out immediately, but they wouldn't issue a refund for the first night!!!
The staff were helpful, friendly and they made excellent coffee. We were in a non-smoking room / area, but the hallway outside the non-smoking rooms was just like sitting in a smoky bar. Bed was like sleeping on 2 X 4's, but the room was clean. Once we saw the other hotels around the area, we decided on our next trip to try another place.
The staffs are really nice, friendly and helpful. The location is a bit far from Downtown, but can be easily accessed by public buses. The room is quite small and old.
Their room was filthy. Mold dew in bath tub. Hairs all over bathroom floor. Sink wouldn't drain. Employees were rude. We asked for smoking room and he gave us non smoking and they charged us $50 for that. We wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone.
