Great value for the price. Location is great. It was also quiet. Would stay there again for sure. The rooms are a little dated but very easy to live with that especially for the price.
The value! The rooms need upgrading but for the cost it was great. The bathroom fan was broken but the staff was very nice. The free breakfast was adequate but crowed. The room is very small.
Clean and comfortable Thin walls- noisy
Overall, great room with a good value! The room was a little muggy
I haven't stayed in a Best Western for years so I was pleasantly surprised by the ultra comfortable room, extremely comfy bed, super quiet walls and windows, and just overall very homey feel. I slept like a rock and had no issues getting up at sunrise for some nearby wildlife photo work, I felt so rested and so did my entire family. Plus the continental breakfast was great! We were worried it was so close to the highway but you couldn't hear a thing in the room.
The young ladies at the check-in counter are very competent and courteous. They made us feel welcome and important. The lady who cleaned our room, Kumari, was extremely helpful, kind, and conscientious. Our room was very comfortable, and our King bed was one of the most comfortable beds my wife and I have ever slept in! We utilized and enjoyed the Keurig Coffee makers, with Starbucks coffee in our room. We loved having a cup in our room before going to the well-prepared and delicious complimentary breakfast. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and we will continue to do so when lodging is needed in Bellingham. Nothing!
Bed was great and Internet was fast. No elevator for all our luggage, had a dirty towel.
The wireless access connection was good. Hot breakfast and not just cereal and muffins. Staff is friendly. The tv cable was slow. Trying to find something to watch was a drag. One of my bathroom towels had a very light long red mark on it like it wasn't changed out yet it was still folded nice and neatly. Lead me to inspect all the other towels before use.
This is the second Holiday Inn Express Hotel that I've stayed in and both times I was in awe with the excellent service, rooms, food and facilties, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express!
We booked our flight, rental car and hotel from Travelocity just a few weeks in advance. We were very pleased with the hotel-especially for the price. Typically we prefer Marriott but it was not in our budget for this trip. The Holiday Inn Express turned out to be a great choice! Our 2 year old loved the breakfast buffet and we appreciated the 24 hour coffee!
If we were ever making the same trip again I would definately use this hotel again.
This hotel by far is the best in Bellingham. Great service, great bedding, great breakfast.
I think this hotel was more than we were expecting. Nice location, great staff, really clean.
Sink drained extremely slowly, reported for two days, never fixed.....very little evidence that they serviced the room, towels were not replaced, pool towels were not removed....the breakfast provided was excellent and very well run...
This is a great hotel, very accomidating for the business traveler. Not only does it have a business center with 2 computer and 2 printers, this hotel also provides free WIFI that works GREAT! I have never had any problems with the internet. Also, their breakfast is GREAT! It is always stocked and always good!!
I was very impressed with this hotel. I was just looking for a cheap place to stay for one night and park my car there for a week as I was traveling from Bellingham airport. I was very surprised with the nice room (very clean) and the free breakfast was awesome. The shuttle was waiting for us in the morning and they sent one to pick us up when we got back. All free and no charge for parking our car at there hotel. I would definitely stay there again.
Had a wonderful stay. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast provided a great start for the day. Location was perfect, right off Meridian and across the street from Bellis Fair Mall. We even managed a swim and soak in the hot tub. Enjoy!
The hotel and staff are excellent. They made us feel right at home and were available to answer all of our questions. The hot breakfast was an added bonus, we were only expecting a continental breakfast. We loved the outside seating on the patio. Overall a wonderful place to stay.
This room absolutely had to be an after thought ! The shower head was on the side of the wall rather than one end. So, when the water went from cold to HOT, you had nowhere to back up to! The lay out was just strange. Perhaps for handicap access? We asked for a different room, but for four nights they could only offer smoking rooms. There was no percieved effort to accomodate and they were rude! One ''Dude'' in particular made no pretense of being accomodating at all. And, for some reason, when I went out to get coffee early in the morning (every morning) there was a newspaper outside every door but ours! I was beginning to feel that we were getting the ''Online Travel Website'' treatment! What's up with that? So much for my ''Priority Club'' membership.
The staff is friendly but the front desk staff seemed awfully young, maybe students from the near by university. The room was clean but the towels and bedding showed some signs of wear. The shampoo, lotions, and soap seemed good quality and smelled really good. They gave me extra to take with me when I asked. The pool is really small and shaped oddly so it is not really a lap pool. I'm not really sure who it is intended for. The free breakfast was more than just usual roll and cereal . There was a hot food option and the quality was fine for buffet style. There is not an onsite cafe but there are many food options very nearby. The outdoor patio was nice since it was sunny but it is small and the chairs do not allow a lot of positions for sunning. The gym is an actual health club located next door. The pro here is that it is full of all kinds of machines, the con is that is not as private and low key as the usual hotel work out room.
Regardless of the fact that the facility is located very close to the freeway (which is a good thing for an easy spot to stay while on the road), my room was impressively quiet. The room was very tidy and clean.
Room smelled liked old cigarettes
Ease of locating, and easy access to where we wanted to go in town room was facing the highway entrance, therefore vey loud and smelly. Our room had a backed up sink, and dirty sheets on the bed. The staff easily relocated us to the room next door, but did not seem terribly concerned with the state of our original room. Probably will not stay there again.
I liked the price, the cleanliness of the room, the VERY friendly staff, the continental breakfast, great TV channel selection, proximity to the freeway. Next time I come, I will ask for the top floor. Do not like people using a room above me.
This was my second stay at an Econolodge and both times have been perfectly satisfactory. The rooms have been clean, the staff have been prompt and professional, and the check in process has gone very quickly. It is pretty much exactly what you would hope for out of a budget hotel stay. Nothing fancy, but if you just need a clean and safe place to stay with no hassle, it is perfect. The complimentary breakfast is also nice, nothing fancy, but enough to get you going in the morning until you can get a proper meal and real coffee.
