Fresh, clean rooms with great views. Staff was helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area. The fresh ground coffee fort hero was fantastic. Dinner was delicious.
Our experience at the Majestic was very positive. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was in a building adjacent to the main building and required us to walk outside to reach the main lobby. A minor inconvenience, but in bad weather it might not be so minor.
Spacious, beautiful room. Very helpful staff.
We stayed here the night before and night of our small intimate wedding in Anacortes. It was PERFECT. SUPER comfy bed, cute updated hotel room but still with all the bits of charm intact. I got my hair and makeup done in the hotel spa, which was SO wonderfully convenient (and well done!). After our ceremony we popped across the street to the Rock fish grill for some amazing food/drinks, and to enjoy our cake from La Crema Bakery down the street. All in all AMAZING. It was such a dream come true!
Majestic is an historic part of Anacortes and remains probably its finest offering in terms of a luxury hotel. Architectural beauty such as a central staircase, double-crown molding and wainscoting, meet a modern, high-quality renovation. Staff is always friendly and, while being a luxury hotel, the experience at the Majestic is full of small-town hospitality. The bar is one of our favorites in town even when not staying at the hotel. It is intimate and comfortable, rarely crowded, and offers a great cocktail selection. Easy and plentiful parking. If for some reason the circus is in town, more parking can be found free on all surrounding streets.
Beautiful Hotel with great food and friendly service. I recommend it for relaxing and a center for strolling the Anacortes downtown streets.
Conviently located across the street from Nantucket Inn, where my friend's wedding was held. Bed was comfortable. I would describe it as rustic, it wasn't as updated as I expected. There aren't many alternatives under $300 though.
Price was right. Our room smelled terrible, has to keep the door to the bathroom closed because of the smell. Otherwise the room was clean but dated. If I was sure the other rooms didn't smell I would stay again.
Proximity to the harbor Rundown, noisy, sex spilled out to the balcony in one room of the "motel", old furniture in the rooms, etc. We felt like it was more of a last choice hotel. Better to have stayed in a tent
Not much Smallest room I have ever seen, no ice machine, Backs up to a store that was germ tying very early deliveries
nice little brewery on the main strip block away. not a very clean establishment, didn't replace towels, old rooms and noisy.
Cheap, decent room Seemed to have a lot of 'permanent' residents, loud people.
Location, price. Staff did not respond to door bell for about 15 min. We were concerned we might not get in, even with a late arrival reservation. Facilities are very tired, but seemed clean. It was an ok place for a late arrival early departure, but no good for an extended stay. Had to park on the street as the lot was full.
Close to the Anacortes ferry and not expensive Sheets had blood stains on them. A man came up to change them but let me know he had been drinking so he was a little tipsy. No washcloths or garbage cans in room.
Clean big room. Great location.
We were really surprised by how spacious, clean, and inviting the rooms were. The staff were very nice and the place is clearly well managed. They have eco-friendly products in the bathroom and have real, reusable dishes for breakfast. We were really impressed and will definitely stay here again.
Seemed family owned, so had a very friendly welcome at reception during check-in. She explained the area and gave helpful tips for dinner and for getting to the ferry terminal. Our rooms with king-size beds were big and clean. Complimentary self-serve breakfast was good, with various choices; both hot and cold.
Quaint, romantic cottage-style room with covered porch, fireplace, jacuzzi tub. Old style charm, but with all the modern amenities and water views. Perfect!
Location, cute room, all the necessary items in a compact setup, with great water view. Staff was helpful. I expected this place to be a bit funky, but was surprised at how well the obviously recent updates blended with the older building. Nice to not have just another vanilla hotel room! About my only complaint was the cost....the obvious benefit of the location of this hotel so near to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal seems to have been factored into a room price that seems about 10% over for the situation and amenities. It is possible that our early morning departure (to catch the ferry!) did not give us as much of a chance to appreciate fully the value, as we missed breakfast at the hotel.
The location was good. I knew I wasn't booking a four star hotel, and it met my expectations and needs. The hotel called me twice during the middle of the night waking me both times the night before my booked dates. I double checked my booking, and had confirmed four days prior to my arrival. I won't be returning.
Close to ferry.; low cost Lots of security arnongs in guest book. Not sure how safe the area really is.
Nice and clean and quiet. Very nice staff. Kind of far from downtown.
Proximity to pool, heated pool (ahhh), friendly staff, proximity to a nice park! Their 'breakfast is hard boiled eggs, PEELED and in a dish -sitting out.Bagels still in bag for all to reach into with hands, no cereal/ milk, no waffles or fruit.Kitchen room with no papertowels, kitchen garbage sitting in room -won't fit under sink (yuk

Location Small room, bed seemed less than queen size, noise from other rooms came right though the walls, some electric outlets and fixtures did not work. We were disappointed.
Friendly and helpful staff, very good bed and the room was clean. Good location, very little if any traffic noise. no
Check in went smoothly. Room was clean. No traffic noise.
Our room was clean and appeared to have been upgraded sometime in the recent past. Did not hear any noise from adjacent rooms. The outside of the motel could use a paint job and upgrade of the stairs. The beds were a little firmer than I like, but still ok. Outside noise from the parking lot and 6am garbage truck visit woke me up.
It was everything it was described to be and more. Nothing
The room smelled so bad that I had some trouble with my asta until I aired it out. It was not vacuumed well with pine needles and some paper on the floor , badly stained carpet, badly in need of Ali tiny inside and out, just the poorest condition of a hot
