Loved this hotel. Very historic and being into history was a favorite stay for me!
The staff was super friendly and VERY accommodating!!! The girls at the front desk always had a smile and some men workers we came in contact with we're pleasant and told us to enjoy our stay! We did not like the fact that while we were there our first night there were 3 weddings. While my husband was out gathering up his baseball team he found a crack pipe on an outside table. Security did come immediately and got rid of it. There were also numerous fights from the weddings! We felt security should have been more present and patrolling!
The Genetti is a historical landmark in Williamsport. It is nice that it has maintained some of that charm. We keep going back for its great location, hot breakfast and for nostalgic reasons. It might not be the most updated, but its clean, comfortable, and affordable. Both times we have been there we were upgraded to a bigger room. We will defintely be back.
Clean, comfortable beds, very convenient, No Negative Comments
The staff was extremely friendly. The room was overall clean. The pillows were extremely comfortable Some attention to detail was missed when cleaning the room. The door handles were a bit dirty. We also found our king sized bed to be a little hard for our liking.
Good free breakfast
Spacious room with good amenities Pool area was not well cared for. Water was dirty. Light in room flickered on and off and was not fixed after we reported it.
Patio area was nice along with lobby Not crazy about having a room next to a barking dog
Everything! The night service desk attendant provided excellent customer service. The walk/elevator from floor 3 to 1 in the garage then back up the stairs/elevator once in the hotel.....very minor . Would stay there again and recommend it!
Very clean. Comfortable. Easy to get to. The in-room coffee was unexpectedly excellent. Breakfast was just fine. So what if it isn't "fancy". Who's got the time or inclination for a fancy breakfast? I suppose all hotels need to claim a swimming pool, no matter how tiny it is (like this one). Recommend you evaluate the ROI. Is the pool such a big draw? It would be interesting to see how much revenue a pool generates compared to the cost of maintaining it. Time to look at other uses for that space?
Fast and efficient check-in. Clean rooms had a pleasing modern design. Extremely comfortable beds with nice linens and tons of pillows. Free breakfast was excellent -- good coffee, eggs, sausage, juice, muffins, waffle bar, and more. Outstanding value for $ paid. A place I'd feel comfortable recommending to anyone. Not many downsides. Our stay was perfectly comfortable and hassle-free. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the tiny pool (really not a problem, since we never use hotel pools). This isn't a 'resort' type hotel, but if you're traveling on business and need a comfortable, pleasant spot, this is it.
