Clean and reasonably priced
I was really excited to stay here. Upon arrival, the location of the hotel was perfect! I go in to check in, there is no one in the lobby and I literally stood at the desk for 8 minutes before being helped. Finally a girl comes around and says she didn't see me; not a problem, she gets me in and up to the room we go. Once we enter you are literally right on the boardwalk, great view! We drop the bags and go out to dinner reservations we had as we were in a rush didn't even look at the room. Once we get back I notice while getting ready for bed there is black mold everywhere lining the room. We go to close the blinds for bed and literally 100+ nats coming flying out. I called the front desk immediately, he literally said "can I call you right back", and 2 minutes later I have a housekeeper I would assume in my room with a can of Raid! She couldn't even believe how many there were! On top of that, a dirty rag came from under the blinds. Something that was obviously missed. I told the housekeeper that I was not sleeping in a room with this many bugs and certainly not after spraying Raid. She leaves and I get a call " do you want to switch rooms" I responded yes, I am told to come down and they will give me new keys. I get to the desk, there is NO apology which is honestly what makes me so mad about this experience. I get to the new room, and the keys they just gave me- don't work. I go back down, and she re-keys and sends me on my way. Again, no apology it's 11:30 at night and I'm ready for bed. I'm now bothered to the point where it's hard to sleep. The most annoying part is had I gotten the room they switched me to, to start with we wouldnt of had a problem as this room was exactly the same but actually CLEAN. I'd like to say this seems like a nice play to stay and we just had bad luck with the room, however the behavior from the staff really bothered me. If management would like to reach out, I have plenty of pictures and videos of the first room. Room 503 definetly needs some work.
We went to the beach on a whim. We found this hotel reasonably priced on Kayak. It turned out great. Room was great - right on the boardwalk. Staff was excellent. We had a great time. Nothing... everything was good.
The room was very nice and clean. The wifi was absolutely terrible. The outlets where in weird places.
Excellent and accommodating staff, Nice room with a comfortable bed, balcony and beautiful view of the boardwalk and ocean, very reasonable rate. Most of the hotel's facilities were closed, due to the off-season.
Upon check in, we were greeted by friendly staff, and given an upgrade to a larger room. The room was nice, very appropriate for a beach vacation. The location was perfect, close enough to walk to pier(about 15 min), but also far enough away from the massive pier crowds. We got $10 coupons (one for each day we were there) for the restaurant attached to the hotel, which was fabulous! We did have an issue that was promptly resolved with staff, and management went out of their way to accommodate us. This in no way is the fault of the hotel, but be aware that since this hotel is located next to the beach there may be extra crowds, traffic. We had a car alarm going off several times throughout the stay. This, of course, goes along with the atmosphere of Ocean City.
Staff was very hospitable and pleasant. The location on the boardwalk was very convenient to all attractions. Lovely oceanfront view, the balcony glass doors were clean and clear, definitely maintained. This cannot be said for some of the other boardwalk hotels. Nice "Bath & Body works" brand toiletries. A bit dated, spots in carpet and dim bathroom, but this did not affect our stay. If we stayed during peak season and paid the rack rate, would expect a more up to date facility.
Room had an excellent view. Kid friendly spacious rooms. Bathrooms were small but were useable.
This hotel had everything you could needed; coffee shop, clothing store, bar, spa, waterfront access. The room was spacious and clean. I am under 21 and needed to get my parents to fill out a paper and provide a credit card, which is something I didn't find out until I went to check in. That was a huge hassle. But the people at the front desk let us check in before we provided the papers which was kind. Also they have a few 15 minutes spaces in front of the hotel and their towing staff just sits there with timers waiting for yours to go off. I think that's rude considering we're paying guests and checking in shouldn't take 15 minutes so if it does, it's probably the hotels fault.
Location right on the Boardwalk. Room was not cleaned well and didn't smell so good. Left the room for not even an hour in the morning, put the do not disturb sign on the door and the maid entered the room anyway. All she did was put out her tip envelope. My first tip, listen to your customer.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at the hotel about 6 hours before the actual check in time(4:00) because we wanted to go to the beach. Staff was able to have our room ready by 1:00 which was awesome and we were totally not expecting it. Ocean view from our room was beautiful and we had a side room too! We have a room with 2 queen size bed and the room was pretty large with a nice balcony. Beds were not very comfortable and anytime I moved it was extremely loud. I felt like I couldn't turn from side to side without waking up the other person in the bed next to me. Bathroom was tiny, but honestly it did the job and was clean. Room walls are pretty thin that u can hear the room next door a lot. Especially when they would open or close their room door.
Room had great view. Stay was unremarkable. They own an entire parking garage across the street. Short staffed at front desk. Pushy cleaning people on checkout day.
Location is good. Wallpaper peeling off of walls in several areas of the room and bathroom. No fan in bathroom . A/C was extremely loud, kept us awake. No supplies in kitchenette (detergent, cloths, towels). No receipt was given when asked for.
This hotel was right on the boardwalk and in the middle of the everything which is what we were looking for. The hotel is 100% smoke free so you can't even smoke on the balcony and you sign a paper saying they'll charge you $150 if you smoke.
Location The room was dated, fairly clean but the age of the room made it feel less comfortable
We loved the balcony and oceanfront view. The pool and pool bar are awesome and staff very friendly. Room was clean. Decor is outdated but I cant hold that against them. Staff is friendly. The hotel is smoke-free but they provide smoking areas with seating and ashtrays just outside the doors which is nice for us smoke-when-we-drink types. Location is great except its near the end of the boardwalk so walking with kids towards the Jolly Rancher rides and other boardwalk attractions is a huge hike. Kids were looking forward to the big chess set in the activity room and me and my sister were thrilled about having access to the gym. Both need serious renovations. The chess set pieces are broken and dirty and the gym is tiny and not well equipped. The machines are circa 1980 with some rust. The water cooler tray was slimy. The candy the kids won in the arcade was stale and nasty. They provided shampoo but no conditioner. We were annoyed when we needed more coffee and were told to come to the front desk to get it instead of someone delivering it to the room. We paid a little too much to be retrieving our own staples.
Convenient and restaurants down stairs
liked the view. liked the location around 22nd st. The bed was the worst. Both beds were bad. The shower was too small for two, tub was too small for two.
The location was great enjoyed our breakfast at the restaurant on the 6th floor. We sat out on the patio. You can not beat the view. We were in the 9th floor. The balcony arent private and if your neighbor is skinny enough or a child they can waltz right over. The towels were dirty. There was still make up on the one and the same brown spot on all of the towels. Our room it's self was pretty clean despite what other reviews might say.
The suite was beautiful and ocean front the sound of the ocean and the view was beautiful. close to restaurants and shopping. The staff was very helpful and friendly. the suite was very clean and modern. just the mattress was a little firm for my back, but everything was great.
We had an ocean view and it was lovely. The jacuzzi in our suite did not live up to our expectations.
The hotel is one of the only comfortable places to stay in Ocean City..most hotels are old and uncomfortable! They did not vaccuum the floor and the Boardwalk stops only a few blocks before reaching the hotel...it would be nice if they build the boardwalk further!!!
A great hotel if you have kids with you. Indoor pool, exterior pool, beach / seaside, very close to everything within Ocean City and close to Assateague Island.
There was a lot to do near the hotel. Great eateries and bars. Ocean one block away and the bay one block away from the hotel. didn't have a great view from our room. True Value next door and our view was their storage area and parking lot.
The staff was very friendly The bathrrom had mold in it. I didn't notice it until the next morning when I was getting in the shower. I told the manager when I was checking out. She made a note about it but I don't know where it went from there.
The king suite that we stayed in was great! Plenty of room and worth the price. We were also very close to seacrets, the beach and the bus stops. Convenient location! When I first booked, I asked about early check in. The staff member said she would put a note with the reservation and to call on the way down to see if anything was available. I wish she would've just told me that it probably wouldn't happen, as when I called, there was no chance. They were still nice enough to give us a parking pass so we could park there and explore while waiting for check in time. Also, I would not recommend staying with children because most of the hotel guests were younger and partying.
