We loved it and will definately stay here again. The easy going attitude toward our dogs was very important. We loved having the wonderful space to walk them adn getting to see the deer was great! My daughter especially like the Honey Nut Cheerios! :)
Very friendly owner and staff. Lovely grounds. Quiet and clean.
Loved the quiet, at-home atmosphere. Extremely accomodating. My favorite place to stay in Duluth!
We've stayed here before and will always come back here! We enjoy its peacefulness.
Very clean, quiet adn comfortable. Off the beaten path. Hope to come back!
Warm and cozy, great shower, wonderful sheets. Lots of room, vary clean, good coffee and continental breakfast too. The best kept secret in Duluth!
Everything is very good. The service is really good.
Extra clean, great value, friendly owner, great customer service. Love the sheets and towels. Room had microwave and refrigerator. Grounds are neatly kept. Nice and quiet. Great view.
This room smelled good. Very clean. TV had cable. I will definately stay here again. Loved the fridge!
Nice little place. Love the quiet. Thank you for my stay.
Value pricedwe found room clean and good. Overall feeling is cramped in halls and common areas. Hard to get to if you don't know where you are headed.
No frills here. Clean, comfortable, very friendly staff and a nice complimentary breakfast spread. The only negative I can think of is the chlorine level in the pool. My eyes were burning after about 10 minutes of sitting on the ledge.
Close to mall and shopping. Pool and hot tub was good.good breakfast I the AM Need a upgrade, starting to look as if it needs some work. It needs some brighting up
Clean, updated inside and great staff. Outside doesn't match inside, but much better inside Parking lot and lawn are extremely poor
I especially like the option of bringing my food up to my room to finish it at a later time. Robes for a quick swim in their Salt water pool, quite inside and out. Excellent location in downtown Duluth. The whirlpool water was not hot enough for my taste, but then you can't have everything....
People, room, accommodations, all was wonderful!
Great breakfast! Nice pool area. Easy on and off the freeway, making it easy to go into downtown Duluth, the north shore, or over to WI. Much more reasonably priced, with more to offer, than some of the places on Canal Park.
Definitely would stay there again!! Everything was awesome!!! Nooe
We were pleasantly surprised to find such a fine hotel at this location. Breakfast was always great, and what a surprise to find you provide hot dogs, sandwiches, pretzels and cheese, etc in the evenings for your guests! We will definitely be returning.
Breakfast is great. And, room is perfect. Love that the all parts of the bathroom are in one room, and also that the AC fan runs continuously. Great access to the freeway. No
Wonderful caring stuff, Close to the highway exits. Looks nice inside Quet AC/Heat unit, shower and towels were in good condition bed is very nice Room smelled damp, Not enough seating places for breakfast
Clean, quiet, spacious, beautiful decor, great breakfast, small bar at night with complimentary appetizers. Location is in a light industrial area.
Nice interior, very nice breakfast. Didn't really like the location at all. Nice hotel, but didn't feel like three stars.
Clean rooms and breakfast A little high on bar prices
Convenient location, comfortable room and hearty breakfast.

We found the Comfort Inn to be conveniently located. It was clean & quiet with good breakfast choices. The beds were comfortable and the unexpected plus was a makeup mirror!
The hotel is easy to find just off of the interstate. A easy drive into the city for restaurants and shopping. The room was clean with an ok bed. They served a very nice breakfast. The hotel was fine but not what I would call a three star.
the staff was very friendly and very helpful, the pool was excellent our daughter loved the arcade and the pool nothing
The price was great. The pool and hot tub are not near each other. No gluten free friendly options for breakfast, smells moldy.
Loved the cozy feeling and location Just didn't like all of the steps
Place was over all pretty clean. Basic amenities. I've never seen so many signs for warnings, policys, ect. One above the hot tub was super morbid about drowning and "don't think your child won't be a statistic" I've never seen a hot tub that bans children 10 and under. Also didn't like the adult 1/2 hour. Staff was there at 10:30 on the dot to say they're closing and that she'd already packed up our stuff in the hot tub room. Breakfast ended at 9. Lame.
The hotel was very nice, rooms were cute, staff was friendly and helpful. All the amenities worked. Breakfast room a little cramped.
The staff was very friendly and check-in was efficient. The pool was so heavily chlorinated we couldn't even go in to look at it because of the overpowering smell. The "deluxe breakfast" was store-bought muffins and bagels and some waffle mix with syrup. The two cereal options, fruit loops and I think raisin bran were chock full of sugar. No coffee mugs or glass cups but Styrofoam for everything. "Free breakfast" is fine, but don't call it deluxe. The beds and room were mostly fine.
Staff was nice. Pool was fun. Hot tub was clean. Room was clean, view was decent. Check in and out was easy. Parking lot was incredibly difficult to get into in the winter. Bathroom had no soap, shampoo or conditioner. Floors were uneven. No towels in pool area. No supervision of hot tub area-underage kids and big messes.
The workers were very helpful, the hot tub was amazing..Great stay for a weekend away That hill leading up to the inn was difficult.Should post bigger signs stating there is an easier way to get up the just around the corner..Slide all the way down while going up..that's the only negative thing to say.
Nice location, quick check-in. Somewhat modern rooms. Bed fell off bedframe, pillows were bad. The wooded decor seems dated, out of place.
I really liked the theme of the rooms, the hot tub and pool area were nice and the variety of breakfast foods was good. The dining area for breakfast is a little cramped, our rooms floor seemed like it slanted and bed was very hard.
The bed was great! The room was clean and orderly. I'll use this location again. The check-in parking is not good, at all. Having found no place to park on the upper level parking lot, I drove to the middle level parking lot where I found a space. Having no access to the lobby, aside from the upper level parking, I had to climb the snowy hill to enter the lobby for check in. Upon reaching the sidewalk to the entrance, there were two spots designated for check-in parking. Both spaces were filled and the signs were not visible due to the size of the vehicles in them. The heating/cooling system in the room was a challenge. Setting the heat to 68 caused it to warm up considerably, more than expected. Shutting it off didn't help much. I tried the A/C for a while, just to cool the room off. I felt quite foolish for having to use the A/C in the winter but I was sweating otherwise. Having fallen asleep before 10, I awoke to the room above being occupied. The people were quiet but every step they made was accompanied by a squeek/noise from the floor. Thankfully they didn't move about the room much.
Good value for the price. Driveway/parking area needs fixing. Some pretty big holes.
