The hotel is a small, family run hotel on the waterfront in Ermoupolis. It is slightly confusing to find, and once you arrive the only name plate is in Greek. Once inside the owners are very friendly, and they are obviously keen to establish this location because it's not been operating long. The rooms are spacious and decorated well. There is a rooftop verandah with a bar for sundowners. They also give you complimentary snacks with your drinks. A nice touch.
The breakfasts are quite limited - lots of bread and cakes, but cereals and cooked options were not offered. Parts of the finish let the hotel down if it wishes to be considered 'luxury'. The shower cubicle in our room was a joke, wobbling all over the place, and too many little finishing touches need rectifying. Having stayed 2 nights we were the only occupants, and so spoke to the owner about extending our stay, if he could reduce the price. He did offer to lower slightly, but not to what I considered was a fair rate, so we left. I can't believe a hotel when they let their only guests walk away, we would've happily paid a more realistic price.
