The staff were friendly The administration didn't seem to know what we had booked. They told us that they upgrade us but we had booked a deluxe double anyway.
Internet. Close to the airport. Poor communication in English.
The cafe made some brewed coffee for me shortly before closing which on Manila is hard to come by. Every one uses instnat wioth powdered cream. These guys had real milk in the lobby coffee shop. I had reserved for $32US and had a cooy of my booking sheet with the amount written on it. The insisted on charging me 1,700 pesos which is almost $40.00US even when I showed my reservation printout, The desk clerk eventually called upon the evening manager and after a lenghty discussion/argument we were able to settle on 1400 pesos about $33.USD. The blamed the price difference on currency fluctuations which was totally false. USD to PNP had varried by less than 2% in the previous 2 months.
Nice clean newer hotel! Like most hotels in Manila Area , they are starting to charge a premium like they are New York or Paris ect! It's still the Philippines but poeple are coming and paying these prices so I really can't blame them! I just don't see it, coming here the last 15yrs! the traffic is impossible, so plan on walking!
The service and security level provided by the Ascott's was excellent and to 5 stars international standards. Honesty and responsiveness of front desk personnel is commendable. Bathroom furnishing needs to be enhanced in order to improve averall staying experince.
I liked the location, cleaness of the hotel..beautiful spacious room i think the taxes were too high
The space of the apartment was excelent... Front desk friendlyness might need to be improved.
