Clean, comfortable, and hassle free one night stay. Typical hotel breakfast...but one of the better ones
This hotel is so great! This will definitely be worth spending a little extra in the future if I dont get a steal if a deal like I received. Ive stayed at MANY hotels in Meridian when I go visit family and Drury is top notch! Clean, offers great amenities from free hot breakfast to free snacks and soda AND a lil something extra for adults in the beverage family for FREE! Yes its all FREE! Only negative is that someone in housekeeping cane in our room early one morning after knocking once and barely guving us a chance to get out of bed and answer the door. Hust a minor negative which is the only reason I can't give 5stars. Other than that this is definitely the hotel you want to book!....oh and add bacon to the breakfast menu please! Lol
Drinks and light meal in the evening were just what we needed after a long day of driving. We didn't like dogs indoor, though we understood some traveled with pets.
We did not know until we arrived that we had booked a SMOKING room (no non-smoking were available), and it smelled so bad we couldn't even walk into it. We left the hotel (without a refund) and booked another room down the street
The front desk Agent on duty at check in was friendly , knowledgeable, and efficient. The same can also be said about the agent on duty at check out. The room was clean and "presentable", the bed was comfortable, breakfast was great, all in all, it was well worth the extra $20 I payed to stay at this Chain's Hotel, instead of one of the slightly cheaper offerings. Honestly, I had absolutely no negative issues at all. This hotel will now be my halfway stop point when im going cross country again.
The hotel was very unclean. It was by far the worst smelling room I have ever stayed in.
The room was good My sink was slow draining, after changing rooms three time. The first room toilet didn't flush, the second room was non smoking when I request a smoking room. Window screen was missing on all the rooms.
Beds were comfortable. Staff not the best attitudes. Facilities were not the cleanest.
Nothing The hotel was over booked and two receptionists were arguing with two customers at the desk when we arrived. They had booked with third party online sites and hotel didn't have their rooms. Luckily my room was available because I also booked online third party. Took me 15-20 minutes to get checked in at 11:30 pm after traveling for hours in the rain. We were exhausted and ready for rest. Very noisy guests were running around hotel in swimsuits. Bath tub was gross, the lining was peeling, curtains were broken and wouldn't close, had holes in them also. Carpet was stained, room smelled awful. AC wouldn't keep room cool enough. You can hear people on third floor stomping above us. Horrible night. Wouldn't stay here again for any price.
It's rare for me to like staying in a hotel but this hotel was quiet, CLEAN and the staff was super friendly. The two meals I ate at the hotel cafe were also great! I will be back!
Warm and friendly staff, clean hotel, comfortable beds, hot showers with Neutrogena bath products, microwaves in the room, and free coffee. There is a bar but it was closed during our stay. The gym is well equipped, and the pool is indoors. There are lots of restaurants and shopping areas close by. My only complaint is that breakfast was not included for the steep price. There was a Drury Inn right across the street that was advertising free hot breakfast. The price for that hotel was the same price as HGI. in fact, every other hotel in t h e area offered free breakfast. Next time I will check first before I book here again.
Our family stayed at HGI for the 4th of July weekend. We had a wonderful stay. There are a lot of eating places that are right across the street; Applebees, Logans, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cracker Barrel and others. On the other side of the interstate there's McDonald's, Popeyes, Chick FIL A, Red Lobster, Sam's Club, and Bonita Lake Mall. The beds are comfortable, there's a bar for drinks, coffee is free, but BKFST cost $12.99; my advice is to go to Cracker Barrel or the waffle house for hot cooked food that's tasty and at a fair price. The hotel is too pricey to not include breakfast.
a great location that is surrounded by good restaurants and next to the main interstate.
Was able to get the room type we asked for No, price was a little high and no towels in the room when we arrived but we're brought to the room when we requested them.
Nice decor. Small size of bathroom.
Nice staff Musty smell in room
Check in check out process was simple and easy The restaurant staff were not very friendly and if you weren't buying the buffet table service was scarce. Food was good and the price was reasonable.

Design of hotel, cleanliness and location. It is my favorite Holiday Inn. Nothing.
The bed was good. After getting in at 1am, put do not disturb out and at 9am housekeeping knocked repeatedly to 'just check', then breakfast that we ordered was 45 minutes late, and they charged more than what the menus had listed as the price by 50%, and no one fixed it.
The hall carpet was new. Old. The bath tub had black around tge caulking. No stopper in the tub. It wasn't very clean at all. Disappointed it was rated a high star and certainly was not.
Nice facility and staff. Mainly construction workers staying here.
Hotel was really clean and the staff was very helpful. Thanks Traffic noise from being next to the interstate but it was acceptable.
