We liked the public spaces, the decore and the location. All were excellent. The room was had a lovely decor but was very small. No place for luggage or place for clothling. There were hooks and the wall with hangars. Anymore than a one night over night would have been difficult. Breakfast was very minimal, staff in am was cranky.
Beautiful old building and bar. Friendly service.Near the Ithaca Commons. NO CLOSETS OR DRAWERS in the bedroom--nowhere to put our clothes. Bar closes at 10p, but it's still loud on bench outside our room. Apple TV is nice, but NO access to live local or network TV stations to watch football game. No hot breakfast.
location, service, clean, easy check in and check out.
Stains on the hallway carpet. Tiny pillows. Not very clean overall.
Nice room. All updated. Our room was above Cauuga St. And was noisy for awhile as we were trying to fall asleep.
- Very clean - Allowed us to check in early (2 PM) - Free Wifi and HBO - Great location - A/C didn't work properly - Hot water in the shower ran out after about 2 minutes - Front desk attendant had cold/allergies and was not following any hygiene regiment when dealing with customers (sniff sniff, wipe nose with hand, hand us our key card...yuck) - Limited parking for trailers due to lot design - Two pillows for giant king sized bed
Great location downtown. Walking distance to great restaurants and Cambridge. No hot water in the shower and no maid came to refresh towels or even check if we needed towels. Floors we not the cleanest.
Staff was helpful. Room was great!
Liked the hotel overall and the room was very good. Staff was helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. Parking is inadequate for the facility. Had to park in a public facility across the street. I would have gladly paid for valet parking, had it been available.
The staff are friendly and helpful.. Very dirty rooms.
Free upgrade to the Honeymoon Suite while there during our actual legitimate honeymoon.
Staff was very friendly and room was nice. Easy walk to most places and parking was close. There was a strong cologne smell in the room, like someone spilled a bottle somewhere. But other then that it was good.
The hotel is centrally-located and functional. Our stay was uneventful and we had no issues. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms sizeable. Check-in took a long time as, at any moment, 1 or 3 people were trying to help us. It was a little clumsy. The rooms were mostly clean but the bathroom walls need renovating.
It's a nice hotel and conveniently located to the downtown and the colleges. The grout around the tub and tile in the shower had black mold spots. When I complained to the front desk, the girl just said we are renovating some of the rooms. I said there is no excuse for this. It's a quick easy fix. They also only had one waitress working the busy breakfast shift. The food was delicious, but we needed to wait quite a while to be waited on. Not sure why they were so short staffed when this is the beginning of move in time for the existing students as well as potential students checking out the colleges.
It was clean and comfortable the desk personnel were the best we've ever met and we've been all around the world. restaurant there wasn't one
The facilities were beautiful. But with only maybe 6 guests in the entire place I would have expected them to space us out some instead of putting guests right across the hall from eachother. And the room doors had a tendency to slam which caused some disruption to our sleep when the other guests went in and out of their room late in the evening.
