The proximity to the city The construction that was going on, which we had to walk by to go to the parking lot, and since we were using a motorcycle we had to park at the parking in the building behind the hotel, which i think is unfair. Guests with motorcycle should also get to park within the hotel's compound. It's quite a walk, not to mention lack of cover from the rain to get there.
Excellent staff service from concierge, front-office namely Budi & others, to coffeehouse staff though the tour-desk staff lack sufficient knowledge about Mt Bromo. a major attraction nearby where we went on our first day which was great. Try also the full body sensual massage at the spa on the 2nd floor. The buffet breakfast has a good variety. Overall a good stay. They have cable-ready wired internet connection on the desk but I would prefer to have a WiFi connection so that I would have mobility around the room. Also a relatively small TV for this kind of hotel.
the friendly staff, location and the spacious room design and its decor. The lobby/lounge area is too small;not enough chairs at the waiting area.
Nice and cozy hotel especially for non-smoking floor. Hotel furniture need refurbishment such as coaches on lobby (dull, teared). We check in on 3pm and the house keeping didnot provide us with bath towels. Although problem settles within 30 minutes after reporting to front office, but it doesn't seems as appropriate service for 4 star hotels.
Hotel location is near central of the city so we can go to there within 10 minutes I'm just suggest to make your hotel sign little bit bigger.
The location is Great near the Plaza Tunjungan which is the shopping district of Surabaya. The hotel itself is located 5 minutes from District Court of Surabaya. It made me easier to attend court hearing. Right in front of the hotel there is a small restaurant called "Rawon Setan", famous for its outstanding yet cheap beef soup. I did not like how they convert USD to IDR above their own given rates. I saw in the front desk that 1 USD = IDR 8950, but the receptionist made the conversion USD 1 = IDR 10,000 without consulting with me.
