I booked last minute and the room was $300/night. Upon booking, I was told that check in was at 3pm. However, at 3pm the room was "not ready". Eventually 45 minutes later, when I again approached the front desk she offered a room with a Partial Ocean view, which related to a tiny sliver of water. This sliver could be viewed from the ledge, the hotel referred to as a balcony, which was approximately 4ft wide and 8 ft long. Not long enough for furniture so it was barren. The room was nice enough, though it was evident that the cleaning crew had worked hastily; nut shells on the floor, random debris under the bed. All in all completely not worth what I paid. I was highly disappointed.
Good location next to water and shops. Room could have been cleaned better. Wifi isn't anything to brag about in room but that is the norm with Guam.
Great location right on the beach and close to everything (everything in Guam). Nice pool area. Friendly staff. Nice view from the room. Hyatt charged my credit card an additional $400.00 post checkout. I'm disputing the charge but they are very slow to respond/investigate. My res was paid in full on on booking so they made a serious mistake. The hotel is kind of run down, stains all along the carpet and the rooms are damaged and slightly dated. Stained walls, furniture, hallways, light fixtures etc. Not well maintained ir clean as one would expect at a Hyatt. Especially for the price.
Loved the wellness center. Great classes -- only wish I could have taken more of them. Wide range of equipment, and plenty of it. Ample poolside space, with several different pools. if you don't find a chaise longue at one spot, there's plenty more. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
The staff were not friendly. I requested for earlier check in but was denied. The staff knew that we were waiting for the room. However they told us that the room was still not available at 2:53pm, just seven minutes before their standard check in time. At 3pm, when I was checking in, the staff went away for almost 10 minutes and never said a word why she went away nor apologized for her delay. For star hotel with one star staff/service.
