Welcome to The Governor's Collection - Anchor Point Apartments; an affordable, condo-style development located in the vibrant heart of Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera. The complex is comprised of two buildings: One contains 2 one-bedroom apartments and two standard two-bedroom apartments, while the other contains 2 larger, two-bedroom apartment suites. All units are built with covered, outside balconies that offer fantastic views of Anchor Bay. Our ground floor one bedroom apartment at Anchor Point Apartments features a private bedroom with Queen sized bed, complete bathroom with walk-in shower, full kitchen and living room, and a balcony overlooking Anchor Bay. This apartment is perfect for couples or singles that want their own space, with all the amenities of back home. There is a full washer and dryer in the apartment, as well as pots/pans, coffee maker, full oven/stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, and so much more. Beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and soft sided cooler are all included for days lounging on nearby beaches. SMART TV and Wi-Fi are also included with the rental for those that want to catch up on their favorite programs/movies, or work while away! Anchor Point Apartments are situated in a prime location for exploring Central Eleuthera. We are one block from the historic Haynes Library, and less than a 1/4 mile from Cupid's Cay, home of the Eleutheran Adventurers, and the site of the first Bahamian Parliament in 1746. We are in walking distance to local supermarkets, banks (2 with ATMs), coffee shops, gift stores and more - But, if you want to really explore the island, it is best to rent a car. There are endless secluded beaches that travel the length of the island, just waiting to be explored! For a fun day out on the ocean fishing, we would be more than happy to help you arrange hiring a boat for the day or organizing a charter, with your own captain. Paddle boards, kayaks, and jet skis are also available for rent, as well as snorkeling and diving gear. You can also take a day excursion to visit The Swimming Pigs of Spanish Wells – a relatively new, but very popular, day tour! On Friday evenings, there's great Bahamian nightlife at the Anchor Bay fish fry, which is a short stroll from the apartments. Here you can sample locally prepared, down-home Bahamian food - including conch salad, deep fried fish, grilled chicken, macaroni and cheese, and peas n' rice. Mingle with friendly locals, winter residents who visit the island each year for several months at a time, or tourists seeking a fun evening out - there is a live DJ, local beers and cocktails on sale, limbo contests and dancing in the street until late!

House sits on almost 200 linear feet of Caribbean frontage in top location close to everything. Beautiful foliage, flowers, fruit and vegetable trees on property. Depending on the time of year, you might find pumpkins, chives, potatoes, 2 types of melons, green peppers, cabbage, tomatoes, and hot peppers in our garden. All high-end finishes including granite, stainless steel, natural cypress finishes, beautiful European tile inside and out, and unparalleled views which include the historic capital of Cupid's Cay. Excellent snorkeling, fishing and cliff jumping right at the waterfront and two outdoor showers. Some features include a Weber propane barbeque, propane stove, Wii for kids (and adults!) 3 kayaks, a SUP, beachware including floats, beach chairs and much more! A private work area with a desk and office chair and high speed internet/WIFI make it ideal for a Flex-cation for anyone that needs to work remotely from the island. Home has city water with backup reserve tank for when the water plant cuts off water (happens often). Also a generator for any longer power outages which is another frequent occurrence on the island. You will be hard pressed to find a better located home with so many amenities on the island. The Friday night Fish fry, 1648 restaurant and French Leaves marina, Sky Beach club, all top restaurants, and some of the islands best beaches on both the Atlantic and Caribbean sides of the island just minutes away. Home is located on a private cul-de-sac on the Caribbean in "Lover's Hill" a peaceful authentic Bahamian neighborhood. Waterfront has many beautiful coral reefs for snorkeling (2 snorkeling sets are provided), great fishing and easy cliff jumping (at your own risk).
